Role Overview:

The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, supplier relationships, and cost control to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and strategies.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and quality.

  • Maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Monitor and control purchasing budgets and expenses.

  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.

  • Optimize inventory management to prevent shortages and overstocking.

  • Prepare and present purchasing reports to senior management.

Job requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.

  • Experience in hospitality or event management procurement is preferred.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify cost efficiencies.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple supplier contracts.
