Role Overview:

The Pastry Chef will oversee bakery and dessert production, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute dessert menus.

  • Ensure consistency in pastry production and presentation.

  • Monitor ingredient quality and manage inventory.

  • Train and develop pastry kitchen staff.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Innovate new pastry recipes and seasonal offerings.

  • Maintain pastry kitchen equipment and tools.

  • Work with event planners to develop custom desserts.

Job requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Pastry Arts or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of pastry chef experience in luxury hotels or restaurants.

  • Expertise in pastry techniques, baking, and cake decorating.

  • Strong creativity and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage high-volume production.

  • Experience in cost control and inventory management.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of gluten-free, vegan, and dietary-specific desserts.
