Role Overview:
The ICC Business Development Manager will lead sales initiatives to attract corporate clients and events, driving revenue growth for the convention center.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients.
Build strong relationships with corporate clients, government entities, and event organizers.
Identify and pursue business opportunities to maximize event bookings.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
Collaborate with marketing and events teams to develop promotional strategies.
Track sales performance and generate revenue reports.
Represent the convention center at industry trade shows and networking events.
Job requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
7+ years of experience in sales or business development in hospitality or events.
Proven track record in achieving revenue targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong network in the corporate and event industry.
Ability to analyze market data and develop growth strategies.
Knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools.
Ability to travel and represent the company at industry events.
