Role Overview:

The ICC Business Development Manager will lead sales initiatives to attract corporate clients and events, driving revenue growth for the convention center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients.

  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, government entities, and event organizers.

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to maximize event bookings.

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.

  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to develop promotional strategies.

  • Track sales performance and generate revenue reports.

  • Represent the convention center at industry trade shows and networking events.

Job requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in sales or business development in hospitality or events.

  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong network in the corporate and event industry.

  • Ability to analyze market data and develop growth strategies.

  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools.

  • Ability to travel and represent the company at industry events.
