Role Overview:
The CCTV Officer will be responsible for monitoring and operating surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, and property assets. The role requires continuous monitoring of CCTV systems, prompt reporting of incidents, and close coordination with the Security team to maintain a secure environment across the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the property.
Identify, investigate, and report suspicious activities or security breaches.
Maintain continuous observation of all assigned surveillance areas.
Record incidents and maintain accurate security logs and reports.
Coordinate with Security Supervisors and security personnel during emergencies or incidents.
Ensure all CCTV equipment and systems are functioning properly and report technical issues immediately.
Retrieve and review CCTV footage when required for investigations.
Support crowd monitoring and event security operations during conferences and large-scale events.
Maintain confidentiality of all surveillance information and recordings.
Follow company security procedures, policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with emergency response procedures and incident escalation when necessary.
Job requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Security Management or related field preferred.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in CCTV operations or security monitoring, preferably within hospitality, hotels, malls, or large facilities.
Experience operating CCTV and surveillance systems is essential.
Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
Good understanding of security procedures and incident reporting.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
Basic computer literacy and report-writing skills.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
