Role Overview:
The Banquet Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of banquet functions, ensuring smooth execution of events, coordination of staff, and delivery of high-quality service in line with the venue’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise banquet service staff during event setup, execution, and breakdown.
Ensure all banquet functions are delivered according to event requirements and function sheets.
Coordinate with kitchen, service, and events teams for smooth operational flow.
Monitor service standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout events.
Assist in allocating staff duties and managing shift coordination.
Ensure proper setup of venues including seating, décor, and equipment.
Oversee compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Handle on-the-spot guest requests and resolve service issues promptly.
Support inventory control and proper handling of banquet equipment and materials.
Report operational issues and event feedback to Banquet Assistant Manager or management.
Job requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in F&B supervision or a similar role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of hospitality software is a plus.
