Role Overview:
The AV Supervisor will manage audiovisual operations, ensuring high-quality event experiences at the convention center.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate AV equipment for conferences and events.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to sound, lighting, and display systems.
Ensure proper maintenance and storage of AV equipment.
Train and supervise AV technicians.
Work with event planners to meet AV requirements.
Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and supplies.
Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
Coordinate with vendors for AV system upgrades and repairs.
Job requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Diploma or degree in AV Technology, IT, or related field.
4+ years of experience in AV operations.
Strong technical knowledge of AV systems and equipment.
Experience in live event production and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle multiple events and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
Knowledge of latest AV technologies and trends.
