Role Overview:

The Assistant Security Manager will ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property at the convention center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.

  • Supervise security personnel and ensure proper coverage.

  • Conduct security assessments and risk management.

  • Coordinate emergency response plans and safety drills.

  • Monitor security systems, CCTV, and access controls.

  • Investigate security incidents and prepare reports.

  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services.

  • Ensure compliance with security and legal regulations.

Job requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field.

  • 5+ years of security management experience.

  • Strong leadership and crisis management skills.

  • Experience with security systems and surveillance technologies.

  • Knowledge of emergency response protocols.

  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations.

  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

  • Understanding of local laws and security requirements.
